Covid-19 Safety Guidelines in our classes
• As your class leader, I am fully vaccinated with both jabs and the booster jab.
• We ensure space between each attendee in all sessions.
• We encourage the use of face coverings while in close proximity to others, this is usually when arriving and leaving.
• We encourage good hygiene and the halls are thoroughly cleaned before and after.
• We are not ready to return to 'drop in' sessions as we still need to manage the number of people who attend.
• Please contact us if you would like to come along to any of our sessions

What we teach

We teach the Shibashi Qigong set, a popular form of Medical Qigong designed for beginners.

It is a set of 18 breathing movements which are based on the philosophy of Tai Chi and extracts some of the best movements from the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan. It places emphasis on sychronising the 18 movements with proper breathing techniques. It is a gentle, beautiful and flowing Qigong exercise routine that is both a joy to do and deeply relaxing.

Who is it for?

Practicing Tai Chi Qigong every day helps to strengthen us physically, emotionally and mentally. The gentle, slow movements are especially geared for people with injuries, chronic conditions and ideal for people with reduced flexibility as it does not put too much stress on muscles and joints if done correctly and can be practiced seated or standing.
All ages, seniors and beginners welcome.
"To be inflexible to the change around you is to live in fear. Qigong is a useful tool to improve your flexibility, both mental and physical."
Garri Garripoli, Qigong: Essence of the Healing Dance
"Practicing qigong is so simple and so powerful. You cannot do it wrong. You can only do it good, better, or best."
Chunyi Lin
